Summer is moving along...

Harley is now driving her big red car with shades on....Austin is enjoying ice cream the way it was meant to be eaten....and Jack has moved on to sparring in his TaeKwonDo class. Some days it feels like school will never start again, while other days it feels like time is moving at warp speed. They are growing up too fast.

And the summer begins...

The summer track series began last Thursday. Unfortunately the lighting at that time of day on the track absolutely sucks so I didn't get a great picture of Jack. This one of Aus is him coming back from the 100m finish line after getting 2nd place. Jack also got 2nd in the 100m for his age group. Harley just looked cute sporting a new pony tail "sprout."

Our little rockstar athlete!

Jack competed in his first triathlon today! He got second place in his age group. We are very proud and I am a little scared by his competitive spirit!

Welcome to the family!

Leah Morris, now Leah Doran, joined the family on May 8, 2010. We couldn't be happier! Here are some pictures from the day...and a bonus video of Harley, just because =).

first haircuts, tennis and simply being silly

In preparation for Uncle David and Aunt Leah's big day, Harley is trying to get her hair in order. I am still shocked that her first hair cut is coming at only 5 months! It is actually the perfect length and cut for a faux hawk but that might not be the best look for the wedding.
Jack is currently taking tennis lessons. He is one of the youngest, along with the little girl beside him in the picture, but he is holding his own. He is also possibly the most competitive kid out there. James and I have no idea where it comes from. =)

And then there is Austin, our little comedian. He is such a joy and has a tremendous range of emotions. He doesn't break down like Jack did at this age, but he does have his Mcenroe moments. He definitely makes me giggle.

This week Jack took us on a World Tour with his kindergarten class. He actually had a speaking part in the performance and delivered his line with strength and pizazz.

Austin had his first tea party with me and Harley. Then we all 3 snuggled. It was amazing.

Harley laughed out loud for the first time. She has so many emotions and seems to talk to me in her own way. She is growing too quickly and yet I can't wait for the next step.

A week in March

In the last week, Harley continues to smile endlessly, James and Aus went to Donuts for Dads at Advent and Jack is attempting to master the art of bike riding without training wheels. It has been a great week.
